Mumbai Police was India’s one of the first police forces putting social media to its best use for creating awareness among citizens. Its witty and innovative one-liners often created a buzz making them go viral on social media platforms.
Now, Vadodara Police has decided to take a leaf out of Mumbai Police’s book and gone on a full-blown social media campaign to raise awareness among citizens in Gujarat. Using the lines of famous dialogues from the hit Bollywood movies, lyrics of popular songs and viral moments involving entertainment artists, the city police of Vadodara has populated its timelines on Twitter with warnings why one must not break the law.
The cops in Vadodara have sought to draw home a point that messages or actions relevant in reel life were not necessarily lawful in real life.
Here are some of the catchy messages posted by Vadodara Police by drawing inspiration from Priya Prakash Varrier’s famous wink, dialogues from Salman Khan’s Dabangg and Ajay Devgn’s hit Singham series and Honey Singh’s popular raps.
