A police complaint has been filed in Chhattisgarh against Hindutva terrorist Kalicharan after a video showed him calling Mahatma Gandhi ‘harami’ (illegitimate child). In the viral video, Kalicharan was also seen abusing Islam as he stopped short of calling for the killings of Muslims in India.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel took to Twitter to inform that a case had been filed against the Hindutva terrorist. He tweeted, “A case has been filed against Hindutvavadi Kalicharan for using objectionable words for the father of the nation Mahatama Gandhi under sections 78/2021, 505(2), 294 of the IPC in Tikrapara police station in Raipur.”

In the viral video, Kalicharan was seen praising Hindutva terrorist Nathuram Godse, the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi. He said, “Maha Harami Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi ne satyanas pel diya. Nathuram Godse ji ko namaskar hai. Maar Daala wo harami ko. Dekho operation karna bahut zaroori hota hai phode phunsion ka, nahi to ye cancer ban jaate hain. (This super haramai Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi destroyed everything. Salute to Nathuram Godse for killing this harami. See, it’s important to carry out the operation of wounds before they become cancer).”

In the same video, Hindutva terrorist Kalicharan was also seen spewing venom against Muslims. He said, “I am not asking you to indulge in communal riots because you don’t have the necessary preparation. Muslims are fully prepared. If these cops weren’t there, we would be finished.”

The event where Kalicharan abused Mahatma Gandhi and Islam was held in the Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh, but the man has yet to be arrested. This has prompted many to question the double-standard of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who’s been busy highlighting the difference between Hindutva and Hinduism in recent days.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel too was expected to attend the event organised by Hindutva terrorists but he skipped it, reported NDTV.

Kalicharan hails from Maharashtra, which is also ruled by non-BJP alliance of the Shiv Sena, the Congress and the NCP. Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik took to Twitter to write, “An insult to Mahatma Gandhi ji is an insult to our nation. Strict action should be taken against Kalicharan Maharaj and he should be booked for insulting the Father of our Nation. We are receiving further details from Akola and Maharashtra Home ministry must also take action.”

This comes just days after a group of Hindutva terrorists called for Muslims’ genocide from a similar event in BJP-ruled Uttarakhand. As many as 76 top lawyers have written to Chief Justice of India NV Ramana to take cognisance of the matter with his urgent intervention.
