Col. Anil Kaul (retired), spokesperson of the United Ex-Servicemen Front said that many members of the governing body, including Maj. Gen. Satbir Singh (retired), Group Captain V.K. Gandhi (retired) and himself, have received threats.

Col. Kaul said, “There have been threats to several governing body members. There is no specific threat, but they say things like ‘we will fix you’.”

“We found one policeman clicking a picture of Satbir’s car, we stopped him,” he added.

Dissatisfied with the OROP scheme announced by the government, the veterans are protesting at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

23 September was the 101 day of the agitation.
