Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday asked the city’s Lieutenant Governor, Anil Baijal, to not indulge in politics on mohalla clinics.
Kejriwal said that the delay in clearing files related to mohalla clinics, more than two crores Delhiites’ lives were getting adversely impacted.
In a series of tweets, he wrote, “There shud be no politics wid Moh Clinics. It involves health of 2 cr Delhiites. LG must clear file immediately now. Public suffering due 2 delays. LG shud call all officers n sort it out. I am prepared to come wid my ministers 2 Raj niwas, if LG wants. (sic)”

He added that the LG must ‘sort out’ all objections related to mohalla clinic files through a face to face meeting.
He said, “Let LG sort out all objections across the table rather than files moving up n down. My sincere request.”

His deputy, Manish Sisodia, asked if the LG was waiting for Gorakhpur-like tragedy in Delhi. 290 children have died due to administrative lapses in Gorakhpur’s BRD Medical college hospital in August alone.
He wrote, “Let’s not wait for another Gorakhpur like tragedy in Delhi. CM has offered to discuss it anytime. Let all officers be called right now.”

Kejriwal’s tweets came after as many as 45 MLAs arrived at the residence of Baijal to personally urge him to clear the files related to mohalla clinics. The LG reportedly asked the MLAs to get file from the Delhi health minister, Satyendar Jain. However, the AAP legislators denied the files being in possession of Jain.
MLA Adarsh Shastri tweeted, “MLAs pleaded @LtGovDelhi to clear Mohalla Clinic file.He asked to get file from @SatyendarJain but file not with minister!Who has the file?”
