Nine more Indians are reported to have died in Mecca’s crane crash incident that had killed more than 110 people on 10 September.
Earlier, the number of Indians confirmed dead were two.

But on Sunday evening, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Vikas Swarup confirmed on twitter that ‘unfortunately nine more Indians had died.’
Swarup tweeted;
After opening of mortuary today eveng, officials working w/ relatives have confirmed that 9 more Indians have unfortunately died in #Makkah

Swarup added that the Indian Embassy was trying to extend all possible help to affected people.
He tweeted;
Mission is extending all possible assistance to the families of the 11 deceased pilgrims to complete formalities in #Makkah

Death toll in Mecca’s crane collapse incident had risen to 107 while more than 230 people were now reported to be injured on the day of the incident.
A crane had collapsed in the Saudi Arabia’s Holy City of Mecca on Friday, the country’s Civil Defence Authority has said.
The civil defence authority had tweeted in Arabic revising the figure on death toll and injured.
