Fashion designer and stylist, Neeta Lulla will be presenting her bridal collection at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 starting on August 26.
Neeta is planning to present an interesting bridal collection, this LFW. She said the new-age contemporary brides prefer being modern but stylish at the same time.
Speaking to PTI, Neeta said, “It is a Winter/Festive bridal collection in synergy with Lakme Salon and their upcoming looks for the season. The bride is a working woman and doesn’t want to wear the cliched red, pink and maroon lehenga.”
Talking about her fabric, Neeta said that there are numerous looks in fabrics, which are treated differently.
She said, “I am using a colour of gamut and not sticking to one colour. There will be one or two in pinks, reds but we have a lot of pastels. We have different looks (sic). One look is classic traditional but that is done with different kind of fabrics and then there is a nature-inspired look, glamorous look, regular look but stylish, sculpt look that has different embellishment and it has been treated differently.”
Neeta is credited for creating the look for some of the leading Bollywood actresses including Sridevi, Aishwarya Rai, Juhi Chawla, Kareena Kapoor, Sushmita Sen, Shilpa Shetty, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra amongst many others. Besides, she also styled some lead male actors like Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
