The mysterious death of a Thai woman in Lucknow has caused tremors in the political circle of Uttar Pradesh. Faced with serious allegations, BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Seth has denied allegations against his son, saying that attempts were being made to defame his family.
According to reports, a 31-year-old woman from Thailand had arrived in Lucknow with the help of local influential people amidst a deadly pandemic. She was declared dead on 3 May allegedly due to COVID-19 complications. However, some local journalists said that the woman died due to complications arising from unnatural sex and multiple sexual assaults.
IP Singh of the Samajwadi Party tweeted a photo of the BJP MP with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wrote on Twitter, “There’s a serious allegation against the son of BJP MP Sanjay Seth, who’s smiling in this photo standing next to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A call girl was called during the global pandemic. She has now died of corona. Does UP Police have the courage to take action or launch an investigation?”
जाँच करने की? pic.twitter.com/mXaqLjXkmb

Singh also shared screenshots of one journalist Kumar Gaurav Singh, who had alleged that the Thai girl had died after being repeatedly assaulted sexually in various hotels of Lucknow.

Faced with serious allegations, Seth issued a statement and asked the UP Police to probe the death of the Thai woman. He wrote, “Attempts are being made to defame me and my family with fake and misleading news. Neither my family nor I have anything to do with this episode. I have just informed Lucknow Police Commissioner DK Thakur regarding this. He has assured to inform me after investigating the matter.”
pic.twitter.com/XpMAOmuWIs
