He said, “I want to appeal to people to vote for Nitish Kumar to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party. Narendra Modi should suffer a defeat in Bihar because he has cheated the people.”
“The BJP should be taught a lesson for having defrauded the people and the armed forces. Democracy without education is hypocrisy without limitation,” he added.

Jethmalani, who had described Modi as ‘avatar’ before 2014 Lok Sabha elections said he has been a victim of fraud.
He said, ” “Today I have come here to do ‘penance’ for what I did by promoting Narendra Modi as the leader of the country (before the Lok Sabha polls). I thought that God has sent him as his ‘Aulia’ (representative) for India’s salvation…How I became the victim of fraud.”
The former BJP leader said Modi must be punished for his “anti-people policies”.
