A Delhi-based minor girl has alleged that she was raped multiple times by a 19-year-old boy in Delhi. The accused has been identified as Himanshu.
Quoting police, news agency PTI reported that a case had been registered under relevant sections of the IPC at the BK Road Police Station in the national capital.
According to the 15-year-old girl, Himanshu raped her on several occasions since August this year. The girl said that she was first raped at Connaught Place when she was in an inebriated state.
Later, she reportedly told the cops, she was raped in Dwarka and Badarpur multiple times.
The Delhi Police arrested Himanshi and produced him before a court.
In August this year, a 13-year-old Dalit girl from north Delhi’s Narela was allegedly raped and killed in neighbouring Gurgaon by a relative of her landlord. The Police had arrested the accused, identified as Praveen Verma, in that case.
According to a report by India Today, another minor girl was allegedly raped in Delhi by her 22-year-old cousin a few days ago. The alleged incident took place when the girl’s parents were away visiting their native place in Uttar Pradesh.
