Milind Soman shares selfie with girlfriend on birthday

On 4 November Milind Soman celebrated his 52nd birthday in Norway with girlfriend Ankita Konwar. The actor model took to Instagram to post a photo with his girlfriend while thanking his fans for the birthday wishes.

He wrote, “Thank you all for your wishes! Have funnnnn !! 🙂 .”

Soman, who is set to judge the second edition of India’s Next Top Model with Malaika Arora, has been posting photos with Ankita as he planned to celebrate his 52nd birthday in Tromso.

While most users found the photos cute and wished the couple good luck, there were some, who poked fun at their age gap since Ankita is just 18-year-old.

Soman, who had recently gone for trekking to Mount Everest, made his entertainment debut with Alisha Chinai’s blockbuster music video, Made in India, in 1995. Since then, he’s acted in several films including including 16 December, Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula, Bhram, Say Salaam India and Bheja Fry. His last presence in a Bollywood movie was Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s Bajirao Mastani.

The news of Milind dating an 18-year-old did not appear to go down well the Twitter users. However, there were many who felt that feminists were being unfair to the model for his decision to date a teen. Interesting, the famous model actor receieved plenty of support from the known right-wing Hindutva supporting females on Twitter.
