Model actor Milind Soman has been a subject of an intense social media trolling after he posted a photo with his 18-year-old girlfriend from Norway on his birthday.
On 4 November, Soman had taken to Instagram to thank his fans when he posted the photo with Ankita Konwar with following messages, “Thank you all for your wishes! Have funnnnn !! ? .”
Soon social media users began to condemn the 52-year-old model actor for dating a teen. While some pointed out that Soman had started dating Konwar when she was just 15, others alleged that his previous girlfriend too was just a teen.
One user said, “I’ve seen a photo of his gf back in 2014 in his account and I believe she’s 18 now so I guess he knew her since she was 15 now that’s disturbing.”
Another user asked, “How did u guys even end up together.. not jealous just curious.” “Bacche ki jaan lega kya?” wrote one more user.
Unfazed over the intense trolling, Soman posted another photo with Konwar from Oslo.
He wrote, “Happy arctic time at my @airbnb home in Oslo and Tromso .”
Soman, who had recently gone for trekking to Mount Everest, made his entertainment debut with Alisha Chinai’s blockbuster music video, Made in India, in 1995. Since then, he’s acted in several films including including 16 December, Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula, Bhram, Say Salaam India and Bheja Fry. His last presence in a Bollywood movie was Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s Bajirao Mastani.
