BJP MLA from Rajasthan’s Rajsamand, Kiran Maheshwari, has passed away at Gurgaon’s Medanta Hospital days after testing positive for COVID-19. She was under treatment for post COVID complications for nearly three weeks.

In one of her recent social posts, Maheshwari had condoled the death of veteran Congress leader Ahmed Patel, who too died after testing positive for coronavirus. Patel too was receiving treatment at the same hospital in Gurgaon.

In other news, thousands of farmers have continued to hold protests against controversial Farm law at Singhu border (Delhi-Haryana border). They have refused the offer for talks by Home Minister Amit Shah.

According to police, one Tikaram filed a complaint alleging that his daughter was being lured by Uvaish from the same village to leave her religion.
