Less than a week after being suspended, the parody account of the BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has been restored.
Facebook restored the account on Tuesday evening.
Swamy’s parody page, which now has close to two lakh likes, had disappeared from the social media platform on 24th March.
The BJP leader had last year lodged a complaint to the Facebook requesting it to delete the account, but the social media platform ended up suspending his real account.
The page, known as unofficial Subramanian Swamy, posted the following message after being live again, “Bachna oh sanghiyo loh main aa gaya… Susu Swamy ko band karna mushkil he nahi namumkin hai..“
Facebook has also restored Dr Swamy’s official account, which has 12 lakh likes
