Bharatiya Janata Party leader Varun Gandhi on Wednesday denied Lalit Modi’s claims on Twitter and termed them as ‘baseless allegations’ by the former IPL chairman Lalit Modi.

As per reports, Varun is understood to have said that Modi is trying to divert attention from himself and drag the names of senior party people in order to hamper their reputation.

Earlier, Lalit Modi claimed that he was on personal terms with yet another politician, when he alleged that Varun had visited him in London.

“Please clarify @varungandhi80 did u or did u not come to my house in london. Whilst staying at the Ritz hotel in lon a few years ago,” he had tweeted
