Actor Jennifer Winget is no stranger to TV watchers in India as she has acted in many hit TV serials in the past. She was recently on Times 20 Most Desirable Women on Indian Telly.
Among the serials she has acted so far include Bepannah, Beyhadh, and Dill Mill Gaye. The actor recently posted a photo on Instagram with she kneading the dough. She wrote, “Can’t be done with your hands in your pockets. Sometimes, you have to get your hands dirty to get the job done. #bepannaah”
The Bepannah actor terming the kneading the dough a ‘dirty’ act did not go down well with her fans many of whom took to Instagram to criticise her. One wrote, “It’s not dirty respect food if you don’t know it is flour.” Another user asked, “Why are you using word ‘dirty?’ You eat this daily. Please think before writing anything.”
Jennifer, however, received some support from other fans. One wrote, “To everyone complaining ‘getting your hands dirty’ means ‘working heard.’ It doesn’t literally mean dirty.”
Jennifer, who has Punjabi mother and Marathi Christian father, was married to Karan Singh Grover before the two split. Karan later went on to marry actor Bipasha Basu. In Colors’ TV show Bepannah Jennifer plays the role of Zoya. The story revolves around Aditya and Zoya, who fall in love with each other after their respective spouses die in accidents.
