At a press conference today, when the media asked about the Lalit Modi-Sushma Swaraj controversy, Finance Minister Jaitley said, “All allegations are baseless. Her statement and Party President’s statement has also come out”.

“Unhone (Sushma Swaraj) jo kia wo achhi niyat ke saath kia, saari sarkar aur party isme ek mat hai, kisi ko sandeh nhi hai”, Arun Jaitley added.

Commenting further on the issue, Jaitley stated, “Show Cause notices are a quasi-judicial function of ED and ED discharging those functions”.

“Out of 16, in 15 cases show cause notices have been issued. There is a confusion about shades of blue corner notice”, Arun Jaitley also said.

HM Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley were addressing a press conference in order to share the different efforts of the PDP-BJP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir.

During the interaction with the media Rajnath Singh said, “Today PM decided that some more fund will be allocated for J&K, additional ex-gratia amount will be given.”

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley stated that a grant had been allocated to rebuild 75,000 ‘kacche’ houses that were partially or fully damaged during the J&K floods. Speaking about the issue of infiltration in the valley, Rajnath Singh said that the security situation had improved a lot and terror incidents have declined by 25%.
