BJP minister in Madhya Pradesh government has refused to show any remorse to her brazen act of kicking a child who had approached her for help on Sunday.

A defiant minister, Kusum Mehedele, told reporters, “kya kahun?  Aap logon ne to apne man ki kar li na? (What should I say? You guys have done what you wished to do.)”

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have stepped up attack on the BJP demanding the sacking of the BJP minister.

AAP on Monday lodged a complaint with the Human Rights Commission against the ‘atrocities’ of the minister.

Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari said that the BJP ‘must sack Mehedele’ but added that the party wouldn’t do so.

He said, ” knowing how insensitive BJP has been to people’s concern, I don’t expect the party to take any action against this minister.”

Mehdele, who has already courted controversy for her insensitive remarks on farmers’ suicides, had kicked a boy in full public view on Sunday when he asked her for one rupee.

Her act was captured on camera and the video went viral minutes after this incident being reported.

Social media users slammed her for her utter disdain towards the plight of common people with many attacking the BJP for taking voters for granted after winning the elections.

Mehdele had recently sparked controversy, when at a function in Damoh district, she said that no farmer commits suicide at the death of a young son, then how could they do so at the failure of their crops.
