In what could have been a catastrophic accident, an Indian Air Force fighter plane flying over Rajasthan’s Barmer district accidentally dropped five bombs on Tuesday.
According to ANI news agency, the bombs fell in Gugdi in Rajasthan and such was the power of explosion that it could be heard up to ten kilometres away.
There are no reports of any casualties yet.
An IAF team has left for the site in Gugdi in Rajasthan.
Barmer Police though ruled out the news of bombs being dropped from IAF plane. The police clarified that they were pieces of scrap. Police have collected the scrap and have cordoned off the area.
