Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal faces social media roasting for recommending ‘misogynistic’ Twitter account

Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal has been at the centre of incessant social media trolling after he recommended his 1.82 lakh followers to follow a Twitter handle, known for its misogynistic tweets.

Taking to Twitter, Bansal wrote, “One of the accounts I recommend that all men on twitter follow is @LifeMathMoney. He will teach you many things you need to know. Women can follow if too, if they want. (sic).”

No sooner did he post his tweet, Bansal began to face condemnation after many users pointed out that the Twitter user in question was known for posting sexist and offensive tweets. They highlighted some of his controversial tweets.

“Men are taller and stronger than women.” “You’re generalizing” True, but I can specifically conclude that you’re an idiot.

What’s the difference between ugly women and pretty women? Pretty girls feel everyone is helpful and life is easy while ugly girls feel like men. Ironically, the latter fights for equality.

Here’s how social media reacted to Bansal’s tweet:

Sachin Bansal had founded Flipkart, an e-commerce platform, with his friend Binny Bansal. Last year, he left the company that he founded after Walmart took control of 77% stake in the company. He later sold his shares in Flipkart for $1 billion. Later, Binny Bansal too had to exit Flipkart amidst allegations of sexual misconduct.
