Farhan Akhtar, Jwala Gutta, John Abraham aghast on goat’s gang-rape in Haryana

Bollywood actors have reacted with utter dismay over the disturbing news of a pregnant goat being allegedly gang-raped by eight men in Haryana’s Mewat region.

Such was the anger on Twitter on Monday that #JusticeForGoat trended all through the day. The goat in question has reportedly died. Now, several Bollywood atrists and sport personalities have come forward to condemn the incident. Actor John Abraham even demanded death sentences for the eight men accused of carrying the heinous crime.

He told Bollywood Hungama, “I am appalled. Being an Indian, I say women and animals are not safe in our country. Capital punishment is the only way forward. Nothing else will work with the sick men in our country. For me my religion is being good to all living beings. These guys should be given capital punishment – simple.”

Farhan Akhtar too took to Twitter to express his shock over the alarming rise in sexual perversion in the Indian society. He wrote, “Women and children living in fear of the Indian man’s power politics and sexual perversion was not enough.. now goats and dogs will too. Something has gone seriously wrong in our evolution and our education. Where’s the light at the end of this tunnel?”

Star badminton player replied, “There will be light when we all stand UNITED… AND not fear speaking…”

Police in Mewat have already arrested the eight men, accused of committing the ghastly act. One hopes that the accused, if convicted, are given strictest of punishment.
