The official offline registration drill for admission into the colleges of Delhi University began today.
Delhi University has set 8 admission centers expecting a deluge, having already received more than 2 lakh online applications. Most of these centers are located in the varsity’s south campus while SGTB Khalsa college shall register prospective students in the North.
The 8 centers where applications can accessed and submitted are: Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Dyal Singh College, Gargi College, Maharaja Agrasen College, PGDAV College, Rajdhani College, Shyam Singh College and SGTB Khalsa College.
“All the centres have been instructed to set up at least four windows for sale and acceptance of forms. In case of unexpected rush, more counters will be set up. Help desks have also been established to guide the admission-seekers in case of doubts regarding filling of forms,”
DU spokesperson and joint-dean of students’ welfare Malay Neerav said.
Special desks are also set up for assisting students from the Northeast. With a total of 54,000 seats at the undergraduate level, applicants are expected to submit completed forms by June, 15.
