Delhi govt to provide jobs to acid attack victims

The Delhi government has decided to offer employment to the victims of acid attacks and has formed a committee to look into their issues.

According to reports, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had received a representation from survivors of acid attacks who appealed for government jobs, following which, Delhi government has proposed that suitable employment be provided to the victims.

Kejriwal has further directed that applications from the victims be invited by the services department and be considered on a priority basis.
