Delhi Capitals on Sunday defeated Punjab Kings by seven wickets even though Mayank Agarwal played a gutsy knock of unbeaten 99 in KL Rahul’s absence.

Punjab Kings, playing their first match without skipper KL Rahul, scored 166-6 in 20 overs. Rahul had to be hospitalised after being diagnosed with acute appendicitis. Agarwal led the charge for his side and remained unbeaten at 99.

Kagiso Rabada was the most successful bowler for Delhi Capitals as he finished with a spell of 3-36 in four overs.

Delhi Capitals chased the target by losing just three wickets with 20 balls to spare. Shikhar Dhawan was the top scorer with 69 runs that he scored by facing 47 balls.
