Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami has been booked for domestic violence after his Hasin Jahan filed a complaint with Kolkata Police’S Jadavpur Police Station.
The Indian pacer has been booked under 498A (Husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), 323 (Causing hurt), 307 (Attempt to murder), 376 (Punishment for rape), 506 (Criminal intimidation), 328 (Causing hurt by means of poison, etc., with intent to commit an offence.), 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC.
Meanwhile, Hasin has released the recording of her conversation with a male, who she claims is her husband. ( Listen below)
“Shami please don’t lie. When will you tell the truth? You don’t care about me, our daughter, our families, you don’t about anyone. You might care about that Pakistani girl so I urge you to tell the truth in Alishba’s name. Are these chats yours?”

“When you said you didn’t have a Dubai visa and you can’t leave the hotel room then how did you get one?. Why did you lie to me? It’s clear you are lying to me,” asked Hasin

Earlier this week, Jahan had made stunning allegations against her husband accusing him of adultery, torture and threatening to kill her. The cricketer had taken to social media to deny all allegations. Shami on Friday had also said that his wife’s mental balance was right.
Jahan had also posted several photos of Shami with girls and screenshots of WhatsApp conversations. She had also alleged that Shami stayed in a hotel in Dubai with one of his female friends from Karachi. Jahan had also added the match-fixing angle while highlighting her husband’s relationship with a Pakistan girl.
Responding to his wife’s allegations on match-fixing, Shami had told ABP News, “She has lost her mental balance, all the allegations made by Hasin are baseless and she will have to provide evidence to prove them. I’ve been trying to reach her by phone but she is not picking my calls.”
Former India captain Kapil Dev had advised Jahan to not take her family feuds out in the open terming her action as ‘disgusting.’
The BCCI has decided to not include Shami into its list of contracted players.
