Prasad was recently in the news after it emerged that he was forced to close down his new Chinese restaurant to avoid mounting losses. He had shot to fame last year after a YouTuber highlighted his struggle to run his eatery in Malviya Nagar following a prolonged period of a nationwide lockdown. This prompted people to come forward to support him financially.
However, he later sensationally accused the YouTuber, Gaurav Wasan, of committing financial fraud and cheating. But, earlier this month, Prasad issued an apology saying that Wasan was a good man. Wasan later visited him saying that he had forgiven the octogenarian man.
