Union HRD Minister, Smriti Irani, has reportedly made a presentation at the RSS-BJP meet in Delhi relating to her vision on India’s education policy under the BJP rule.
The RSS, BJP’s ideological mentor, has made it clear that it wanted the new education policy to include imparting primary education in local languages, inclusion of ancient science and Vedic maths in syllabus, promoting Sanskrit and other Indian languages and allocating six percent of India’s GDP for education.
This comes after Irani had met RSS and its affiliated six other education bodies in July to discuss a new policy on education.
