Actor Urvashi Rautela has allegedly received death threats after the release of her upcoming film, Hate Story 4.  The film is an erotic thriller and its trailer was released recently. The trailer has already clocked nearly 3.5 crore views on YouTube.

A report by Mid-Day said that the actor received death threats for allegedly portraying Draupadi in poor light. In the trailer Urvashi is seen comparing her character to Draupadi, a Hindu mythological character, who was married to five Pandavs.

In the trailer Urvashi is seen saying, “What would have I said? Draupadi had five Pandavs. Here there are just two.”

“Urvashi was shocked to receive several nasty comments and death threats.” The actress was completely taken aback by this,” several entertainment websites quoted a source close to the actor as saying.

The film is directed by Vishal Pandya with Sammeer Arora having written the screenplay. Aside from Urvashi, the film also has Karan Wahi, Vivaan Bhatena, Ihana Dhillon and Gulshan Grover in lead roles. The film is set to release on 9 March.

Most of the comments on YouTube are targetted at Urvashi with users accusing her of promoting porn and denigrating the women’s status. While others said that her career in Bollywood will be over with Hate Story 4.
