Two days after the Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley, travelledvisited a Delhi court amidst huge presence of his supporters and cabinet colleagues, Aam Aadmi Party has decided to show its strength through a planned protest in the heart of Delhi on Wednesday morning.
AAP will protest against Jaitley demanding his resignation in Delhi.
Curiously, the venue for the protest has been chosen very close to the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The AAP’s protest will take place outside the Race Course metro station, which is in a very close proximity of Modi’s residence at 7 RCR.
On Monday, Jaitley had gone to the Patiala House court to file civil defamation against the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders.
Jaitley is seeking damages worth Rs 10 crore for the corruption allegations leveled against him by the AAP leaders.
On Tuesday, in a specially convened assembly session, Kejriwal had launched an unprecedented tirade against both Jaitley and Modi demanding the resignations for both.
