The much-awaited trailer of Mission Mangal was released on Thursday with more than 20 million people already having watched the video of the film on YouTube. The film has Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menon in key roles and is expected to hit cinemas on India’s Independence Day this year. However, some one-liners from the trailer have now given rise to a full-blown meme fest on social media.
Dialogues that are being fervently used to create memes are spoken by Akshay Kumar, Dalip Tahil and Sonakshi Sinha. For example, a seemingly pessimist Tahil is heard saying in the trailer, “Chances of this mission succeeding is less than one percent.”
This is how Twitterati reacted with hilarious memes to this dialogue by Tahil. Even the Mumbai Police could not resist the temptation and joined with their own meme.

At another place, Akshay Kumar, who appears convinced that India can launch its mission to Mars successfully despite several handicaps, is heard saying, “Mujhe Abhi Tak Nahi Pata Kaise Karenge, Par Karenge Sir, Karna Hi Hoga (I still don’t know how we will do it, but will do it, sir,. We will have to do it).”
This too was lapped up by social media users for quirky memes.

Sonakshi Sinha’s dialogue too came for social media hilarious scrutiny. The line in question was ‘Sirf 850 kilo fuel ke saath it’s impossible.’ This is how Twitterati responded to her line in the film.

Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal revolves around the scientists on India’s Mars Orbiter Mission or Mangalyaan. The film’s producer, Fox Star Studio, said, “Mission Mangal is the incredible true story behind India’s mission to Mars. It shows how Rakesh Dhawan (Akshay Kumar) and Tara Shinde (Vidya Balan) together with a team of brilliant scientists successfully sent a satellite to Mars in their very first attempt, a mammoth feat achieved by no other nation. This is a tale of inspiration which shows how dreams transform into reality with a vision, the courage to pursue it and fulfill it with sheer determination.”
