Sara Ali Khan will have her second film releasing on 28 December. The release of Simmba, which also stars Ranveer Singh, will be just days after her debut film Kedarnath performed considerably well at the box office. Meanwhile, Sara posted a cute photo of her family to wish her fans on the occasion of Christmas. Also in the photo was Kareena Kapoor, Sara’s step-mom.
In the first photo, Sara is seen posing with Dad Saif Ali Khan, brother Ibrahim Ali Khan and half brother Taimur Ali Khan. In the second photo, even Kareena can be seen sitting next to Sara while posing for the camera. Sara had her hand placed on Kareena’s thigh in the second photo, in a sign of her bonding with her father’s second wife.
Sara’s caption read, “Merry merry merry Christmas to everyone.” While her posts received overwhelming appreciation from her fans, many began to troll Sara and Kareena for different reasons. Some trolls gave Sara grief for giving her real Mom Amrita Singh a miss on this festive occasion, others mocked Kareena with disparaging comments aimed at her looks.
One wrote, “Hi Sara. The pic looks incomplete without your mom Amrita Singh. Please put yours and Mam’s pic together once.” “Why isn’t amrita invited?” asked another. Same question was posed by another fan, “Where is ur real mom? Missing her in this pic?”
As if Sara being trolled was not enough, trolls targeted Kareena with even nastier comments. One user wrote that she had grown ‘too old.’ Another fan asked a similar question, “Why is Kareena looking so old?” “Is something wrong with Kareena?” asked another comment. “Kareena kapoor kitna buddhi hogaye hae??” said a fan.
Sara had received plenty of plaudits for her acting prowess in Kedarnath with critics declaring her as the next superstar in Bollywood. She also received praises for her wit and sharp presence of mind while speaking to the media.
