After Sheila Dikshit, now BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra has taken a potshot at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his claims that Muslim votes in Delhi shifted to the Congress.
Sharing the screenshot of the Indian Express story, Patra borrowed the line from a controversial statement made by Sam Pitroda, a close aide of Congress President Rahul Gandhi, to embarrass Kejriwal. He wrote, “Ab Vote shift ‘hua to hua,’ AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) figure out karte rahiye. (Vote shift happened, so what? You continue to figure out).”
AAP in Hindi is also used to denote ‘you.’ Kejriwal had told Indian Express that his party appeared to win all seven seats of Delhi, until 48 hours prior to voting. “But the complete Muslim vote got shifted to the Congress in the last moment. Last night, the night before election. We are trying to figure out as to what happened. They are 12-13 per cent,” he was quoted as saying.

Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit had slammed Kejriwal for appearing to concede that his party had lost this year’s Lok Sabha polls.
Sam Pitroda had recently caused quite a stir after he told news agency ANI that there was no need to drag the 1984 anti-Sikh genocide to this year’s parliamentary polls. He had said, “Hua to Hua (It happened, so what).” Pitroda was later forced to apologise since the BJP accused the Congress of using a proxy to insult Sikhs ahead of the Lok Sabha polls in Punjab, scheduled for 19 May.
