Salman Khan says he’s taken first dose of COVID-19 vaccine after Aamir Khan tests positive for coronavirus

Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Wednesday announced that he had taken the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Salman took to social media to make the announcement, which came hours after it emerged that his friend, Aamir Khan, had tested positive for COVID-19.

Salman tweeted, ‘Took my first dose of vaccine today….”



Salman lives in Mumbai, which is the capital of Maharashtra. The western Indian state has been reported a new surge in COVID-19 cases, prompting the government to impose lockdowns in several cities.

Earlier on Wednesday, Aamir was reported to have tested positive for COVID-19. Several media reports also claimed that Kiara Advani, who was shooting a commercial with Aamir, too was likely to undergo COVID-19 test.

On the work front, Salman will be next seen in his Eid release Radhe, also featuring Disha Patani.
