Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were the best buddy in Bollywood until everything fell apart and their relationship turned into a fierce rivalry. It took the intervention of a Congress MLA, Baba Siddiqui, in Mumbai to bring them together for an Iftar party.
Such was their friendship that when Salman Khan received the Filmfare award for best actor in supporting role for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in 1999, the Dabangg actor had dedicated the award to Shah Rukh saying, “Thank you Shah Rukh for supporting me in the film. I hope you continue to support me for the rest of my life. He’s an amazing human being.”
Both stay very close to each other in Bandra, where Salman is often seen going for cycling as part of his physical fitness routine. A report by Bollywood website Miss Malini said that Salman recent stopped by Shah Rukh’s residence during one of his recent cycle rides recently.
Intrigued by Salman’s bike, Shah Rukh’s youngest son, AbRam took a liking to the two-wheeler. Salman, who was silently observing the desire in the young child’s eyes, hatched a plan.
Just a few days later, he had a customised e-cyle of his own delivered at AbRam’s doorstep, leaving the young soul incredibly excited. The website reported that the e-bike continues to remain the most prized possession of Abram till date.
Salman and Shah Rukh have acted films like Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. There are no reports of the two of the biggest names in Bollywood coming together again.
Salman is currently shooting for his next Eid release, Bharat, which was in news because of Priyanka Chopra abruptly walking off the film. Days later, Katrina Kaif had joined the team to replace Priyanka.
