Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar may have retired from active cricket, but the former batting great continues to remain the media spotlight because of his children, Arjun and Sara Tendulkar.
Not too long ago, Tendulkar’s son, Arjun, got some attention for choosing to sell radios outside Lord’s in London during the India-England Test match. Tendulkar and his doctor wife, Anjali, had earned plenty of plaudits for raising their son with such values especially dignity of labour.
Weeks later, the proud parents are once again in the news after an Instagram post by daughter Sara went viral. In her latest Instagram post, Sara posted photos and a video of her graduation ceremony at London’s University College. She posted the photo with a cheeky caption, “I did what?”
While in one photo, Sara is seen in her convocation gown, she is joined by her parents in another photo, where both Tendulkar and Anjali can be seen posing for the camera. The post also has a boomerang video of Sara and her friend throwing their cap in the air.
The post went viral with lightning speed as fans congratulated Sara and also the proud parents. One fan wrote, “Congratulations Sara..Wish u all the best for your future endeavours.” Another wrote, “Congrts on ur achievmnt.U did paved a road for da beter of humanity, ahead r da roads to b pavd for a sucesful person.”
Sara, who has studied medicine, is all set to follow the footsteps of her mother. She has over 2.29 lakh followers on Instagram and has been posting photos to update her fans about the goings on in her life, albeit not so regularly. She was last seen attending the engagement party Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash Ambani with Shloka Mehta.
