Rahul Chahar spun magic on Tuesday night to secure a thrilling 10-run IPL win for his side after Mumbai Indians were bowled out for 152 by Kolkata Knight Riders.

Batting first, Mumbai Indians were bowled out for 152 in 20 overs with Suryakumar Yadav emerging as the top scorer. Yadav made 56 in 36 balls with his knock including two sixes and seven boundaries. Skipper Rohit Sharma made 43 in 32 balls.

Andre Russel picked up a fifer as he finished with an impressive spell of 5-15 in just two overs.

Kolkata Knight Riders began their run-chase on an aggressive note as Nitish Rana and Shubman Gill added 72 runs in 8.5 overs for the first wicket. Rana made 57 in 47 balls while Gill scored 33 by facing just 24 balls.

However, the solid foundation laid by Rana and Gill came to nothing as the KKR began to lose wickets at regular intervals. Rahul Chahar was the tormentor-in-chief as he finished with a spell of 4-27 in four overs. Also joining the party was Trent Boult, who picked up two wickets in two successive deliveries in the last over of the match, dashing all hopes for a win by the KKR. However, he was denied a hat-trick by Harbhajan Singh. But this wasn’t enough for the KKR as they lost the match by 10 runs.
