Bollywood actor Salman Khan has released a comic book based on his latest movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in the presence of his father, Salim. The idea of a comic book is being seen as an innovative way of promoting the movie as before actors have preferred to launch video game adaptations of their films.
The book titled, ‘Geography with Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ describes all the places which the protagonist visits during the movie. In Bajrangi Bhaijaan, we see that Salman Khan travels a lot of places across India and so through this book, he has tried to reach out to the children in the most entertaining way, briefing them about all those places. The second part of the book is also expected to be released soon.
Salman Khan also feels that the film’s theme of helping a lost girl reach her home safely is quite relevant and it will give a proper message to the kids. Salman hopes that the same could help generating a reading interest in them.
Although Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan opened to a fabulous response, it has failed to catapult the earnings of SS Rajamouli’s epic Baahubali. While Baahubali collected over Rs 50 crores on the opening day, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has managed 27.25 crores. However, the real test for Salman’s movie is expected to come on July 18 when the Muslim holy month of Ramzan ends.
