India’s fast bowler has said that getting married to Sanjana Ganesan has been a ‘magical’ experience for him as he took to social media to make the confession. However, his fans have urged him to immediately return to the team, which they say are in desperate need of a quality fast bowler.
Bumrah took to Instagram to write, “The last few days have been nothing short of absolutely magical! We are so grateful for all the love & wishes we’ve received. Thank you.”
No sooner did Bumrah share the photos of himself with his wife, his fans began to urge him to consider joining the team, which has already suffered two defeats at the hands of the England cricket team in the ongoing T20 International series. One wrote, “Bhai jaldi nipatlo yee sab ….bowler ki kami khalri h team mein.” Others wished him on starting a new phase of his life. “Aww what a way to start my morning..Thank you for blessing us with this pics.. We love you ??,” wrote one fan.

Sanjana too took to Instagram to share a couple of photos of herself with Bumrah as she thanked her fans for the outpour of support. “Overwhelmed by all the love we’ve been showered with over the last few days. We’ve been reading all your messages & wishes with the biggest smiles on our faces! Thank you,” she wrote.

Sanjana, who has been a TV presenter with Star Sports and Shah Rukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders, tied the knot with Jasprit Bumrah, who plays for Mukesh Ambani-owned Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Bumrah was allowed to leave the India-England series midway to focus on his wedding preparations. It’s not sure whether he will be available for the selection in the upcoming ODI series against the England team. Meanwhile, the ongoing T20 International series between India and England are currently tied 2-2.
