Sara Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan’s daughter, is currently awaiting her debut film, which could be Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath or Karan Johar’s Simmba. While in Kedarnath, the young star daughter is acting opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, She is paired with Ranveer Singh in Simmba, directed by Rohit Shetty.
Sara Ali Khan was in news recently after it emerged that Kedarnath may not be her debut film as the makers of the film were contemplating moving the date from its scheduled month November.
On Saturday, Sara was spotted emerging out of Mumbai’s famous Shani temple in Juhu suburbs. Also joining her were his brother Ibrahim Ali Khan and mother Amrita Singh. Saif, after divorcing Amrita, had married Kareena Kapoor Khan, who’s the mother of the couple’s child Taimur.
In one video, Sara even lost her cool at the paparazzi asking them to stop clicking her photos inside the temple. She said, “Please stop this, I am inside the temple.”
Sources in Bollywood said that Sara’s visit to Shani temple was to seek blessings for her debut film. In the viral photos, now being widely posted on Instagram, Sara is also seen distributing money, clothes and juice bottle to the beggars waiting outside the temple. After distributing the items, she then seeks their blessing by folding her hands.
What was an incredibly sweet gesture soon turned into a reason for Sara’s incessant trolling as her Muslim fans reacted angrily on the photos and declared that Saif’s daughter had defamed Islam even though her mother is Hindu.
One user, Akram Rajpoot, commented, “I think she should change her name , if you only have to use a name just to show that you belong to a Nawaab Pataudi family and daughter of saif ali then you are misusing the Muslim name.” Another user, Subh Thakur wrote, “Please change your faith and name and removed Khan as your title.” Another user, Faisal Qureshi, wrote, “That’s the true example in front of us, they’re not d real people, they do things for reel and to be famous, they have nothing to do with any temple or God, they just wanna famous, I don’t have respect for them. Shameful.”
However, not everyone agreed with the reason for Sara Ali Khan’s trolling. One user wondered, “Why celebrities r dragged into religion thing. There are many Muslims who go to temple n many Hindus go to darga. Then why they are targeted . Their mother is Hindu n dad is Muslim. They are following both religion….” Another user felt that hate messages for Sara were shining example of why there was no peace in this world.
