Tanushree Dutta recently dropped a bombshell accusing Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on the sets of Horn OK Pleassss. She also went on to accuse Nana Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya and the film’s producer of hiring MSN goons to attack her car while her parents were sitting inside.
Days after her allegations, India Today carried a full video of what had transpired on the sets that fateful evening. In the video (watch below), a shaken Tanushree was seen sitting inside the car as the mob attacked her while damaging the car. One man, dressed in an orange colour T-shirt, too was seen hitting the car with his camera. He was then seen deflating the car’s tyre.
That man has now been identified as Pawan Bharadwaj, who is working as a cameraman in a media company. He’s come out in the open to ‘explain’ his side of the story. Speaking to The Quint website, Bharadwaj explained why he behaved like a goon. He said that Tanushree’s bodyguards had attacked him and damaged his camera first and even attacked his teammate, a journalist called Tejal, first.
“I almost fainted, the bystanders sprinkled water on my face and I revived myself and realised that their car had been stopped near the exit gate by a crowd. I was angry that my camera had been destroyed, I was worried about my job and so I demanded a compensation, but they did not listen to me, so I started hitting the car with my camera in my frustration,” he was quoted as saying.
Cine And TV Artists’ Association on Tuesday had issued a rare apology to actor Tanushree Dutta for not handling her complaint of sexual harassment 10 years ago.
Tanushree had on Monday lashed out at Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth, calling them ‘soulless and conscience-less’ for continuing to work with choreographer Ganesh Acharya and Nana Patekar.
