Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal seemed extremely happy when he stepped out after the private screening of his upcoming boxing drama ‘ Southpaw ‘ at Cannes Film Festival.
The actor who was last seen in the film ‘Nightcrawler’ , has really worked on his 15 pounds of ripped muscle for the role, wore a Tom Ford black peak label O’Connor suit with a white dress shirt, black and white tie and black lace up shoes, E! Online reported.
The 34-year-old American actor will be showcasing his fighting skills in his upcoming Antoine Fuqua’s directed flick that is based on the life of a boxer struggling with addiction.
Thierry Fremaux, festival delegate general, said Gyllenhaal’s performance in the movie is incredible and this would be one of his best.
The movie that will hit theatres on July 24 also stars Rachel McAdams, 50 Cent and Forest Whitaker.
