Jacqueline Fernandez pours her heart out with ‘heartbreaking’ photo of Jesus out terrorists striking Sri Lanka

The wave of explosions caused by terrorists across Sri Lanka have left nearly 300 people dead and over 500 injured. The tragedy has evoked anger and shock from people around the the globe. Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who has her roots in Sri Lanka, took to social media to pour her heart out explaining just how much the Sunday’s terror attacks has affected her.

She said that she was completely heartbroken by the Sunday’s terror attack. Jacqueline Fernandez wrote, “Easter the time we celebrate Good overcoming Evil… May God give strength to all the affected families of the Sri Lanka bombings on such an auspicious day.. May Good always overcome Evil, may Love always reign supreme.. completely heartbroken by this and what is happening to this World of ours.”

Her emotional post elicited equally heartwarming response from her fans. One wrote, “this honestly breaks my heart. my heart goes out to the victims and their families.” “goshh!! it broke my heart,” wrote another fan.” One fan wrote, “heartbreaking, may god bless the people there.”

Jacqueline, whose father is Sri Lankan and mother Malaysian, had earlier tweeted, “Extremely sad at the news of bombings in Sri Lanka. It’s unfortunate that one is not able to see that violence is like a chain reaction. This has to stop.”



Jacqueline, who started her career in Bollywood with Aladin in 2009, has acted in 15 films. She was last seen in Race 3 opposite Salman Khan. She has also been signed for the Hindi remake of the Kannada film Kirik Party opposite Kartik Aaryan and Drive opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.

Meanwhile, the government has declared a state of emergency in Sri Lanka after arresting over 20 people on suspicion of carrying out the terror attacks.
