Is this year’s Bigg Boss fixed? Sreesanth faces merciless trolling for alleged confession

Now a video of Sreesanth allegedly confessing to Dipika Kakar about the reality TV show being fixed has gone viral on social media. In the video, Sreesanth can be heard confiding in Dipika, her so-called sister on the show, that the makers of the TV show brought him with an assurance to give him ‘preference.’

He is heard saying, “Aap ko lage ya na lage, aap ko pata hai main yahan kyon hoon? Mujhe preferences ke sth laya gya h show main..Main preference ki wajah se bach raha hu public votes ki wajah se ni. (I don’t know if you are aware or not. But you know why I am here. I’ve been brought on the show with a preference. I’ve been avoiding elimination not because of public votes, but because of this preference.)”

The video has evoked angry reactions from fans, who’ve begun targeting Sreesanth by reminding him about his previous role in spot-fixing in the IPL. In 2013, he was banned for life by the BCCI.

User Urbi wrote, “Wt could we expect from a show where makers themselves biased n favoring their own choice.. If SREE didn’t confess then also it’s visible how they r favoring SREE…. Salman didn’t said a single word about sree’s behavior towards worker n abusing KV on his father’s name (sic)”

User Shilpa wrote, “No wonder why Bigg Boss 12 is a flop show. They’ve been folling the audience thinking we are stupid.” Useer Sangieeta Singh tweeted, “Omg shocking..fixer ke saath ek aur fixing.”

This year’s Bigg Boss has failed to connect with the audience as its TRP has been at an all time low with the show not even featuring in the list of top five programmes. The show’s host Salman Khan had recently blamed contestant Surbhi Rana for being foul mouthed, which was causing the show’s TRP to fall. Salman has also repeatedly faced the audience’s ire for his alleged biases towards Sreesanth and his ‘special friend’ Dipika. On one occasion, when Salman pretended to give Sreesanth a dressing down, he was put in his place by the former India cricketer, making it clear that he was no ordinary contestant in the show.

Salman and the makers of the show have ignored Sreesanth’s antics but have chosen to admonish other contestants for the same acts. The former India cricketer has been abusive, sexist and violent on the show but has faced no action from the makers of Bigg Boss even though the show claims to have zero tolerance towards such shenanigans.
