Yuvraj Singh’s actress wife Hazel Keech was recently in the news after Aamir Khan’s daughter publicly announced signing her in the lead role of her debut play Medea. The Bodyguard actress is back in the news again for reportedly attending last month’s Indian Sports Honours in tears.
A report by an entertainment portal said that Hazel was in tears while attending the event with her cricketer husband. According to the report, right before walking the red carpet, Hazel became breathless as her condition ‘got a bit out of control.’ A group of girls offered Hazel water. She soon gained her composure and began to breathe normally, added the report by Spotboye.com. The experience had left Hazel in tears. She soon wiped off her tears and walked the red carpet with a smile on her face.
Hazel later took to Instagram to post her photo from the red carpet and thank Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli. Hazel wrote, “Congratulations to all those Sportsmen and Sportswomen who won last night. Well done to the #viratkohlifoundation for sponsors upcoming talent.”
The photo elicited an instant response from Ira, who posted multiple heart eyes emojis.
The bonding between Ira and Hazel has become one of the most talked-about phenomenons on social media lately. Iran had shared a dramatic photo of herself going down on one knee while offering Hazel the lead role of Medea, which is an adaptation of Euripides’ Greek tragedy Medea. A day after Ira had revealed how Hazel said ‘yes to her proposal’, it emerged that she also cast her brother Junaid Khan to play a lead character in her upcoming play Medea.
Hazel has suffered from a chronic breathing issue, for which she also underwent a surgery in April this year. The actress had also posted about it and thanked her mother-in-law for forcing her to go in for a surgery to fix the issue.
Taking to Instagram, Hazel had written, “I’ve not posted in a while so I thought I would fill you in on where I’ve been hiding (those of you who were wondering)… A month ago I had a surgery to fix my nose- for as long as I can remember I’ve struggled to breathe through my nose, although not a serious health issue, a chronic one that I just learnt to live with.”
She had thanked her mother-in-law for forcing her to undergo the treatment. “Lucky enough for me it annoyed my mother-in-law so much that she finally took me to a hospital…sometimes it takes annoying someone to have the best outcome!!!! Love you Shabo!”
