Actor Tanushree Dutta recently dropped a bombshell accusing Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her while also alleging that another filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri had ordered her to strip and dance before a male actor, namely Irrfan Khan. She has now slammed Amitabh Bachchan for hypocrisy.

Since Tanushree’s revelations, she has found plenty of support from actors such as Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Kangana Ranaut, Parineeti Chopra, Renuka Shahane and Shilpa Shetty.
Shahane in particular had even written that the producer of the controversial film was rumoured to have been in touch with the underworld dons.
Among those who chose not to comment on the controversy were Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. Bachchan, the brand ambassador of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pet scheme Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, had chided the reporter for asking a question on Tanshuree’s claims. According to Big B, he was neither Tanushree Dutta nor Nana Patekar and, therefore, was not qualified to speak on the issues of sexual harassment in Bollywood.
Now Tanushree has lashed out at Bachchan, accusing him of hypocrisy. She told Hindustan Times that she was hurt since ‘these are people who do movies on social causes.’ She said, “But when it comes to standing up and doing something about what is happening in front of you, there are these evasive statements that don’t make sense.”

Many right-wing trolls on Twitter have been giving Tanushree grief for targeting Agnihotri, who has lately become a poster boy of the RSS. The Hindutva trolls accused her of seeking cheap publicity since her Bollywood career had allegedly faded in oblivion.
Taking on her trolls, Tanushree said, “They are saying Bollywood comeback, Bigg Boss… so what? I am not disparaging those inside the Bigg Boss house, but do people really think for somebody who walked on the Miss Universe stage and went ahead to do 16-18 Bollywood films, my aspirations in life would be so limited?”
Meanwhile, India Today released a video that conclusively proved Tanushree’s narration that she was harassed by Patekar on the sets of Horn Ok Please. In the video, the MNS goons are seen attacking Tanushree’s car while she remained seated inside with her parents. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that these goons appeared determined to kill her and her parents.

Tanushree had said that when she objected to Patekar’s obscene advancements, the producer of the film had called in MNS goons to have her physically attacked.
