Here’s why Arnab Goswami is being mockingly asked to contact Adani as old ‘mujhe drugs do’ video goes viral once again

Remember Arnab Goswami facing public roasting last year after a video clip of Republic TV broadcast went viral in the wake of the tragic death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput? In the viral clip, Goswami was seen shouting ‘mujhe drugs do (give me drugs).’ Now the samne clip has resurfaced on the internet and is going viral as the Department of Revenue Intelligence seize 3,000 kg heroin from Gujarat’s Mundra port, controlled by Gautam Adani’s Adani Ports.

No sooner did the news of the seizure of 3,000 kgs heroin emerge, netizens began to give grief to Republic TV founder, questioning his silence on what’s being billed as one of the largest seizures of heroin in the world. Many reminded Goswami how he had devoted hours of TV debates on the alleged discovery of just a few grams of drugs from Rhea Chakraborty’s possession, but the TV anchor has maintained a mysterious silence on the seizure of heroin, estimated to be worth Rs. 21,000 crore.

Many Twitter users also mocked Goswami by sarcastically asking him to approach the Adani Group for drugs while sharing the video of his old TV broadcast.

BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday offered to file a PIL after 3,000 kgs of heroin from Adani Group’s Mundra port in Gujarat was seized. According to The Hindu, the breakthrough came after the agency was alerted about one Vijayawada-based Aashi Trading Company importing semi-processed Talc stones. These stones originated from Afghanistan but were shipped from Bandar Abbas Port in Iran to Mundra Port.

Rhea Chakraborty, a former girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput was arrested for allegedly facilitating the procurement of drugs for consumption by late actor, whose dead body was found from his apartment on 14 June. After spending weeks in jail, Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail by the Bombay High Court.
