Pro-BJP actor has started to trigger new controversy on Facebook-owned social media platform Instagram days after being banned on Twitter for promoting hate speech and indulging in Islamophobia. Kangana is facing widespread condemnation for calling actor Vikrant Massey a ‘cockroach’ as she threatened to beat him up with her slipper.

This was after Vikrant likened Yami Gautam to ‘Radhe Ma’ after his Ginny Weds Sunny co-star shared more photos from her wedding festivities. Vikrant had commented on one of Yami’s photos, “Pure & Pious like Radhe Maa! ????????”

This appeared to anger the controversial pro-BJP actor, who wrote, “Kahan se nikla ye cockroach..lao meri chappal. (From where did this cockroach come. Hand me my slipper).”

Yami had announced her wedding last week as she wrote, “In your light, I learn to love – Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family.”

Her husband Aditya had famously directed Uri: The Surgical Strike, which was based on India’s surgical strikes deep inside Pakistan. The film had featured Vicky Kaushal in lead role with Yami Gautam playing the character of an undercover RAW agent. One of the dialogues from the film, How’s the josh? had become hugely popular.

On the work front, Yami has featured in films such as Vicky Donor opposite Ayushmann Khurana, Kaabil opposite Hrithik Roshan and Batti Gul Meter Chalu opposite Shahid Kapoor. Her next big released is likely to be Bhoot Police.
