The star cast of ‘Aisa Yeh Jahaan’ was in Noida to promote their upcoming movie.
‘Aisa Yeh Jahaan’ is India’s first Carbon Neutral Film directed by Biswajeet Bora and produced by Maya Kholie.
The film stars Palash Sen, Ira Dubey and Kymsleen Kholie in lead roles with Yashpal Sharma, Tinu Anand, Carol Gracias, Prisha Dabbas and Saurabh Pandey in supporting roles.
The film revolves around the story of a nuclear family and their small-town maid. The plot showcases how people move from small towns and villages to metropolitan cities in search of better life and job opportunities.
Palash Sen, lead vocalist of the Euphoria band explained his long gap from acting. He said “I was focusing on other things in life but coming back to acting after 13 years a different experience and I am really excited for it, hoping my audience to like my character.”
Sen came in limelight through his album ‘Dhoom’. This singer gave music a new dimension in mid- nineties and made his acting debut with Meghna Gulzaar’s movie ‘Filhaal‘ acting opposite Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen in 2002 and now after 13 years. He is all set to make a comeback to acting with the upcoming film ‘Aisa Yeh Jahaan’.
Ira dubey whom we saw in her bitchy best with Sonam Kapoor in ‘Aisha’, had done a couple of movies before with the last one being ‘Dilliwali Zalim Girlfriend’. Speaking excitedly about her role in ‘Aisa Yeh Jahaan’ as an Assamese housewife, she says, “I worked very hard to look and sound like an Assamese. It’s the story of a migrant couple from Assam struggling for survival in Mumbai. I play a very materialistic wife who keeps pestering her husband to get her the things that she desires for a better life.”
Saurabh, who is debuting with the film when asked about his experience, says, “It was a very great experience. I got to work with so many talented people. I am eagerly looking forward for the film’s release as I am extremely excited about it.”
The film focuses on life and survival and is slated to release on 24th July, 2015
