IAS topper Tina Dabi Khan may have been in her full-fledged posting only for few months, but the adulation and fan following that she has been receiving on social media will make even a Bollywood star envious of her. Since topping what’s arguably the most prestigious competitive exam in India in 2016, Tina has acquired a status of a rock star in India.
On Instagram, where she has a verified account with a blue tick, Tina has more than 2.65 lakh followers. This speaks volumes of her soaring popularity on social media. Almost every post of Tina elicits overwhelming responses from her fans, who see a role model in her.
Tina on Sunday took to her Instagram page to post her selfie video. In the video, Tina is seen flaunting her hair with a caption that reads, “Good Hair Day.”
This is not the first time Tina has flaunted her fair. Last year in October, Tina had first announced that she was undergoing ‘keratin treatment’ for hair straightening. In response to a friend’s comments on Instagram, the affable IAS officer had written, “Yeah..hair flipping is still on. The magic of keratin.” Since then, the IAS topper has been seen sporting straight hair, which has replaced her earlier wavy hair style.
More recently, during her visit to Goa for the New Year celebrations, Tina had posted a photo of herself, seemingly taken after a ‘hair-braiding session.’
Tina is married to Athar Aamir Khan, the 2nd ranked IAS officer of 2016. Both Tina and Athar had got married last year. Tina Dabi had later added Khan in her surname and now proudly calls herself as a Kashmiri bahu. Both have also delivered their first TEDx talks at Manipal University and Delhi’s Hansraj College respectively. Both have received their first full-fludged postings in Bhilwara in Rajasthan. While Tina was posted as the SDM, Athar has been appointed the new Sub-Divisional Officer for Badnor in the same district.
