“Don’t have brains worth penny & you call our mothers worth Rs. 100”: 5 savage replies by Diljit Dosanjh to Kangana Ranaut that set internet on fire; Himanshi Khurana aka Punjab’s Aishwarya Rai

The topic that set the internet on fire on Thursday was savage replies by actor Diljit Dosanjh to Kangana Ranaut after the pro-BJP actor was widely shamed for defaming two elderly ladies, one Mahinder Kaur and another Bilkis Dai of Shaheen Bagh. Faced with widespread embarrassment for spreading lies about two elderly women, Kangana made desperate attempts to divert the topic by invoking nationalism, but little did she realise that her opponent this time was no ordinary Bollywood figure. Soon, Twitter erupted with overwhelming support for Diljit, who took on Kangana head-on by replying to her tweets in hard-hitting Punjabi language. This came days after several top Punjabi artists including ex-Bigg Boss contestant Himanshi Khurana targeted Kangana by calling her ‘shameless.’

In her usual style, Kangana tried hard to change the topic, but Diljit kept embarrassing her by repeatedly reminding her about her fake tweet, now deleted, on two grandmothers. His replies prompted Twitterati to desperately look for their translations in Hindi or English, prompting one Twitter user, Aarti, to do the honour.

Here are five hard-hitting replies that set the internet on fire.

Don’t have brains worth penny & you call our mothers worth Rs. 100

Come Come Kangana. You don’t have a brain worth a penny and you call our mothers worth Rs. 100. You can frighten others by using your attack for Bollywood. We are born to teach a lesson to people like you. You have got emboldened to abuse everyone by constantly abusing Bollywood.”

Did no one teach you manners?

Do they look like people who will indulge in bloodshed? You keep dragging bloodshed in everything. What do you want after all? They (elderly people) are like gods to us. Did no one teach you manners on how to speak? Punjabis will teach you the manner on how to speak to elders.”

We are discussing something else and you are hell-bent on diverting the topic. Are you mentally alright? Don’t change the topic. Just give me a straight answer. How dare you bark and call our mothers worth Rs. 100 daily-wage workers. I will get all your heroine-giri out.”

In one of her earlier tweets, Kangana had mischievously identified one Mahinder Kaur as Bilkis Dadi of the Shaheen Bagh protest by using insulting jibes for both the ladies. a BBC reporter had interviewed Kaur, who Kangana had identified as Bilkis Dadi. Faced with widespread condemnation, Kangana had deleted her tweet. But, she has yet to apologise for peddling fake news.

Several other Punjabi artists including Himanshi Khurana, Sargun Mehta, Ammy Virk and Sukhe have slammed Kangana for her lies. Kangana had blocked Himanshi aka Punjab’s Aishwarya Rai after she called her shameless.

A lawyer from Punjab has sent a defamation notice to Kangana for her fake news on the Sikh lady.
