Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty has shared a cryptic note, her first response since the arrest of husband Raj Kundra in the pornography row. Shilpa shared excerpts from what looked like James Thurber’s book as she wrote, “Do not look back in anger or forward in fear, but around in awareness.”
Shilpa added, “We look back in anger at the people who’ve hurt us, the frustrations we’ve felt, the bad luck we’ve endured….The place we need to be is right here, right now. Not looking anxiously at what has been or what might be but fully aware of what is.”
The popular actor continued, “I take a deep breath, knowing that I’m lucky to be alive. I have survived challenges in the past and will survive challenges in the future. Nothing need distract me from living my life today.”
The cryptic note by Shilpa has come just days after the Mumbai Police arrested Kundra for producing and distributing porn films.

The Mumbai Police had said in a statement, “There was a case registered with the Crime Branch Mumbai in Feb 2021 about creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidences regarding this.”
According to the Mumbai Police, they’ve stumbled upon several WhatsApp chats that allegedly showed Kundra leading the financial dealings of a mobile application, Hotshot, and its contents. It’s alleged that Kundra and his associates would share the porn films on Hotshot, which was a paid mobile app.
The police, according to news agency PTI, has also claimed that three women had come forward with complaints in the case, saying they were “forced to act in pornographic movies”.
Some reports said that Kundra was not cooperating with the police in the porn film case.
